Hi all,
I found horrormasters a while back through google, but most of the books and stories are in pdf format, so you have to read them with adobe acrobat reader. At that time, adobe wouldn't read any of the stories at all, so I quickly gave up on the site and forgot about it. I found it again through librivox.org, which always lists the sites where people found the original texts of books and stories. The faq page said you had to have adobe 7.0, which i already did on this computer. so I picked a story, a short short, and adobe acrobat reader read it fine, but it ended sort of funny, so I hope it read all of it. They have novels, novellas, novelettes, and short stories. They're listed in all different type of genres and subgenres. For example, under monsters, there are animal stories, mummies, and other monsters. They have weddings, stories having to do with weddings, nautical horror stories, horror at sea on ships, ghosts, and under that, ghosts, and haunted houses. I could go on and on. It took me 4 hours just to read titles in all the genre titles i did read, and i haven't read all th egenres yet. If you're an avid horror fan, you'll love it, I think. Couldn't resist posting this one.

Hi eternity,
I'm not too crazy about acrobat reader myself, but I do get to read some things I otherwise wouldn't get to read at all. One thing that annoys me abouit some of the stories is that when i enter on one to read it, I get a dialogue saying that th eauthor has set the security so the file can not be viewed, protection failed. Since most of the stuff on there are clasics, and very old, and the authors are all dead, I don't get this at all. I haven't used acrobat reader in a while, so will have to familiarize myself with some things over again. I'm not crazy about acrobat reader, but it does come in handy for reading things i otherwise couldn't read.
